Mission and History

Mission

LifeGuard's mission is to promote patient safety and quality of care by providing comprehensive and individualized clinical assessments and educational remediation plans for physicians referred to the program.​

History

LifeGuard was developed by The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society in 2008 and began operations in 2011. It has been utilized by many professionals across the U.S. in the years since and continues to provide excellence assessments and pathways for referred physicians.
